JOB OPPORTUNITIES
Employment opportunities are available in a variety of healthcare settings in Connecticut. Registered nurses (RNs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs), certified nursing assistants (CNAs), home health aides, companions, and sitters are all welcome to apply.
RNs
Registered nurses have the opportunity to work in acute care, sub-acute, long-term care, occupational health, and private-duty settings. Both supervisory and nonsupervisory positions are available.
LPNs
Licensed practical nurses are used in the acute care, sub-acute, long-term care, occupational health, and private-duty settings.
CNAs
Companions and sitters are used in hospital, long-term care, and at-home settings.
AIDES, COMPANIONS AND SITTERS
Registered nurses have the opportunity to work in acute care, sub-acute, long-term care, occupational health, and private-duty settings. Both supervisory and nonsupervisory positions are available.
REQUIRMENTS
All healthcare professionals must meet current and applicable licensure requirements with the state of Connecticut. For RNs and LPNs this requires a current and valid nursing license. For CNAs, a current nurse's aide certificate must be maintained.
POSITIONS
Contract positions allowing individuals a permanent job site to go to for a fixed period of time. Employees in contract positions make a commitment to schedule into a specific facility and in turn receive guaranteed hours at the same place of business.
Employees can choose whether to work at the same healthcare facility or switch settings on a shift by shift basis.
Both single and double shifts are available on week day and week end schedules.
